Claudia reviews Dr Brite Natural Teeth Whitening Pen
Dr Brite is a brand of oral care products founded by two sisters, one a doctor, and the other a dentist. Their products claim to be over 90% organic and containing no harmful chemicals. They do not test on animals.
They make a range of products including toothpastes, teeth whitening pens, mouthwashes, sonic toothbrushes and pet oral care.

Dr. Brite Natural Teeth Whitening Pen. Mint flavour, contains antioxidants. Whitens teeth by ‘2 shades in 2 days’. Contains food grade Hydrogen Peroxide and anti-oxidants.

EASE OF USE:
I used the pen 2-3 times a day for 7 days. It was very easy to use with good instructions. Applying it to your teeth was very tricky though, as once you applied it, you had to keep your mouth open so you didn’t get the gel stuck to your teeth.
TASTE:
The taste wasn’t very pleasant. It felt slimy and bitter.

VERDICT:
I really wanted to like this product, but unfortunately I can’t recommend it at all. It was really hard to keep my mouth open and dry for the 2 minutes required once I applied the gel. I felt like the gel just got all over my lips and mouth and not on my teeth. It would be better perhaps to have a tray or some other method to keep the gel just on your teeth.
Incidentally, most conventional teeth whitening products contain hydrogen peroxide, so this product doesn’t differ very much from mainstream products.
Unfortunately I didn’t see any difference to the shade of my teeth, even when I used it 3 times a day. It definitely didn’t whiten my teeth by 2 shades in 2 days.
