SMILE. WE’RE HERE TO HELP.

We know how people feel about a trip to the dentist. But you don’t have to feel that way at Dental Quarters. We’ve worked hard to make sure we don’t look, feel or even smell like a traditional dental practice. If you’ve got a question or concern, please get in touch. In the meantime, feel free to check out our FAQs below. Or check out our patient information here.

“IT’S HARD FINDING THE TIME FOR A CHECK-UP. WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS?”
We want to make your visit as stress-free as possible. That’s why we’ve situated ourselves in the heart of Claremont, with lots of free parking nearby, so it’s easy to pop in while you’re shopping or taking a break at work. It’s also why we open on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings.

Monday8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Tuesday8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Wednesday8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Thursday8:30 am – 8:00 pm
Friday8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday8:30 am – 2:00 pm

“YOUR PRACTICE LOOKS WONDERFUL. BUT DOES THAT MEAN YOU’RE EXPENSIVE?”
Not at all. Our focus is on providing an exceptional service, in a comfortable environment, at an affordable price. In other words, value for money. So, for instance, we don’t outsource our crowns to wholesale suppliers in China, like a lot of dentists in Perth – everything we do is carefully hand-crafted by our specialists in Australia. Sometimes, this costs a little more than average, but our clients know it’s worth it.

“DO YOU GUARANTEE YOUR WORK?”
Yes, we do. For example, all of our crowns have a six-month guarantee. That said, none of our crowns have ever failed – a testament to our craftsmanship, commitment to quality and the way we help clients care for their smile.

“CLAREMONT IS SO BUSY. IS THERE ANYWHERE TO PARK NEAR YOUR PRACTICE?”
Yes, there’s lots of free parking nearby, including free one-hour parking right outside our practice on Bayview Terrace. There’s also free three-hour parking undercover at Claremont Quarter (off Gugeri Street) and under the Bayview Centre off Leura Avenue. Take your pick.

 “DO YOU OFFER METAL FILLINGS?”
Studies show that amalgam fillings last a long time, and we can provide them, but they don’t look great – we really want your smile to shine, so why not ask our team about the alternatives.

“I’VE HAD BAD EXPERIENCES WITH OTHER DENTISTS. WHAT IF I’M NOT HAPPY?”
We want to see you smile, which is why we’ve gone to great lengths to create the unique Dental Quarters ambience. But it goes deeper than that. If you aren’t happy with every aspect of our service, we’re not happy either. So, if there are any issues – anything you’re not 100% happy about – please let us know and we’ll address the issue straight away.

“I DON’T LIKE BEING IN THE DENTIST’S CHAIR. HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT TAKE?”
Part of the reason so many people come to hate visits to the dentist is that, traditionally, dentists have a tendency to rush their appointments. Things are different at Dental Quarters. We allow plenty of time for each appointment, taking our time to help you relax and ensure we do the best possible job, first time. The result is a less stressful, comfortable and enjoyable experience. Generally, you should allow 30 minutes for simple procedures, and 60-80 minutes for more complex treatments (such as crowns and cosmetic procedures).

“HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A DENTAL IMPLANT?”
This is a process that cannot be rushed as it depends on how fast your jaw bone and gums heal around a tooth implant made of titanium. Normally, the process can last anywhere between 6-8 months and may involve two or more visits. More information on dental implants can be found here.

“IS TEETH WHITENING PAINFUL?”
Depending on your dentist, it can be – some systems require pain-relief – but we don’t believe any dentistry should be painful. The system we use is quick, with just 30 minutes in the dentist’s chair. Find out more about teeth whitening here.

“HELP, I’VE GOT AN EMERGENCY!”
If your teeth are causing you pain, don’t suffer in silence. Please contact our practice and we’ll get back to you within 12 hours, even on the weekend. If we can’t see you at Dental Quarters, we’ll be able to refer you to one of our partners who operate emergency services.

“WHEN SHOULD I TAKE MY CHILD FOR THEIR FIRST DENTAL APPOINTMENT?”
Children’s dental care is something of a specialty at Dental Quarters. We recommend that children come to see us as soon as they have their first tooth, or around 12-months old – but generally speaking, the sooner, the better. Certainly no later than five years of age.
