What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is an alternative to metal braces for those that want to straighten their teeth. It tends to be easier to adapt to than braces, and less painful. Because the aligner is made of clear plastic, it is less obvious to most people that you are straightening your teeth.

Using revolutionary Smartforce technology, each aligner you wear predictably and gradually moves your teeth to the most ideal position.

Why Invisalign?

Invisalign is a less painful alternative to braces and requires little maintenance. The aligners are removable – which is great for eating – and are virtually invisible because they are made of clear plastic.

Dental Quarters is one of Perth’s premier accredited Invisalign practices. We have been providing Invisalign treatment to patients since 2010.

How does it work?

Invisalign uses clear, custom-made aligners that gently straighten the teeth over a period of time. Each aligner has been customer-made for the individual’s teeth only. Over the period of the treatment, the aligners move the teeth gradually, and by the end of the treatment the patient’s desired look will be achieved.

1. Our Invisalign trained Dental Quarters team will take a series of photos, X-rays and 3D digital scans of your teeth.

2. Invisalign 3D software combines your records and everything you have discussed with our dentists to create your own custom treatment plan.

3. Your very own custom-made aligners arrive from the US to Dental Quarters, all ready for you to pick-up! You will be given 3 pairs of aligners to take home and wear for 2 weeks each.

4. Visit our friendly dentists every 6 weeks so that we can monitor your smile and give you the next set of aligners.

5. Once you have finished wearing all your aligners, you will be given a pair of clear retainers to keep your smile always looking perfect!

Benefits of Invisalign

Apart from being less painful and obvious than metal braces, you can also continue eating the foods you love. Each clear aligner is removable, making it easy to clean your teeth. You won’t have to worry about getting food stuck between your teeth like conventional braces.

The other great benefit of Invisalign is that you can see exactly how your teeth will look at the end of your treatment. Everything is computer-generated, so there is less room for error. You can view videos, a 3D model of your teeth, as well as images.
